QA Engineer
Job Description
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a sharp eye for details, and collaborates effectively across product and development teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionality and performance.
- Review and analyze requirements to ensure complete test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects through their resolution.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to maintain product quality.
- Conduct regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Prepare and maintain clear QA documentation and test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile environment.
- Support UAT testing with the Product team to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- database knowledge with the ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman (or similar tools).
- Hands-on experience with JProfiler or other performance/load testing tools.
- Proficiency using JIRA for test case management, bug tracking, and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and testing processes.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to test automation frameworks or CI/CD integration for testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
